As far as Kansas City Confidential goes, I uploaded it and could play it in VLC (whichever one was before 1.1.10, I just updated a couple days ago) and it was NOT just a gray screen. So, in other words, I believe it is indeed the player that is causing problems and not the Video File.

Thanks for the research by the way, I was worried my upload of Kansas City Confidential wouldn't work.

Thanks for the superb upload. (It plays perfectly with VLC 1.0.5.)

Since it's very large, I've transcoded from it an 819 MB avi and a 1259 MB mpeg2 that I will upload Monday.

Yeah, I was planning on Deriving it to different filetypes but I ran out of time and then didn't have access to the disc anymore. I guess I could have derived from the MKV... but yeah, I put a link to your page of derivations in the description.
